Frieda Greenbaum Goldberg (born Septemin Lodz died 1974), who immigrated in 1906. Mary died soon after, and then Solomon married Ida Mashinsky in 1918 in Cleveland, Ohio. I'm unsure what plans the developer has to expand RE after release. I believe Mashinky lets you progress through all the eras it has during one session, while Railroad Empires just isnt balanced for that. (possibly) Solomon Greenbaum (born 1884), who first married Mary Siegel in 1916 in Cleveland, Ohio. I think Mashinky's going to be in development for years yet, so of course it isn't developed as much Railroad Empires is. I think you can pretty much 'beat' any map within 10 game years (as in most lines being developed and making more money than you can spend), so there wouldn't be much point to progressing through eras on one map unless the time scale / economic growth level were adjusted greatly. I believe Mashinky lets you progress through all the eras it has during one session, while Railroad Empires just isn't balanced for that. Mashinky has no AI players and I don't think they intend to have them, while the AI players in Railroad Empires are a bit limited but do make the map a bit livelier and provide a /sense/ of competition if nothing else. I think it would appeal more to someone who wanted a more model train / simulation-heavy type experience, rather than an entertaining game.īoth of them have their limitations. Compared to Railroad Empires the economy simulation doesn't seem more advanced, just more complicated to interact with. It felt very clunky and user-unfriendly, and I simply lost patience with it. I tried Mashinky a few days before I found Railroad Empires.
